VERSION 2026-10-07-v1

Terms of Use

Effective date: 7 October 2026

These Terms govern use of GOEDTYM, a platform powered by YAWESA (Pty) Ltd. By creating or continuing to use a GOEDTYM account after accepting these Terms, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility and accounts

GOEDTYM is currently intended for adults aged 18 or older. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. What GOEDTYM provides

GOEDTYM may provide discovery, events, tickets or reservations, venue-mode features, menus and ordering, social and outing tools, media features, safety-support workflows, journey-home features and business services. Availability varies by venue, event, device, location and provider.

3. Venues, organisers and external providers

Participating venues, event organisers, transport providers, ticketing providers and other third parties may be independent businesses. Their own terms, fulfilment obligations, venue rules, refund policies and legal duties can apply in addition to these Terms.

4. Payments, tickets and orders

Where GOEDTYM enables payments, tickets, reservations or venue orders, you must confirm the price and details before authorising payment. Payment processing may be performed by regulated third-party providers. Refunds, reversals and settlement timing can depend on the transaction type and applicable provider or venue rules.

5. Safety-support features

GOEDTYM safety, trusted-friend, presence and journey-home features are coordination tools. They do not guarantee safety, prevent crime, replace emergency services or create continuous monitoring unless a specific feature clearly states and requests that permission. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services or venue security.

6. Location and permissions

Location, background presence, camera, notifications, biometrics and similar device capabilities are used only where enabled by the relevant feature and device permission. Optional permissions can be denied or withdrawn, although some related functionality may then be unavailable.

7. User content and Event Vault

You may only upload photos, videos, text or other content that you are entitled to share. You grant GOEDTYM a limited licence to host, process and display that content for the feature in which you submitted it, subject to applicable privacy, moderation and deletion rules. You remain responsible for your content.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not misuse GOEDTYM to harass, stalk, impersonate, defraud, threaten, exploit, unlawfully monitor another person, interfere with venue operations, bypass access controls, distribute malware, manipulate payments or tickets, or violate applicable law or another person's rights.

9. Sponsored and commercial content

GOEDTYM may display clearly labelled sponsored placements, promoted events or third-party advertising. Paid placement must be distinguishable from ordinary content. Personalised advertising, if introduced, will be subject to separate privacy controls and applicable consent requirements.

10. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse, legal compliance or protection of users, venues or the platform. You may request account deletion through GOEDTYM settings or the web deletion route.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is processed. Optional marketing, personalisation, media, location and safety permissions are not automatically granted merely by accepting these Terms.

12. Changes

If a material Terms update requires renewed acceptance, GOEDTYM will present the new version before continued account use.

13. Governing law

These Terms are intended to operate under the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Contact

For current pre-launch company enquiries: yawesa.goedtym@gmail.com. A domain-based support address and formal registered contact details should replace this before public production launch.
