TRUST & SAFETY

Useful safety support requires restraint, not constant tracking.

GOEDTYM is designed around explicit permissions, limited visibility, revocation, auditability and clear boundaries between coordination tools and emergency services.

Coarse by default

When outing participants may not know one another well, proximity or ETA to the shared venue is preferred over exact live location.

Exact location is separate

Precise live sharing is a distinct request with acceptance, expiry and revocation.

Background behaviour is explicit

Foreground and background-location behaviour are separate permissions and should only be enabled deliberately.

Departure is acknowledged

A geofence signal can prompt a departure acknowledgement; it should not silently decide that somebody left.

Sensitive surfaces stay ad-free

Safety, journey-home, authentication and payment flows are protected from third-party advertising interruptions.

No false guarantee

GOEDTYM does not replace emergency services, venue security, transport providers or personal judgement.

PRIVACY

Permission should be understandable and reversible.

Location, personalised advertising, marketing, media participation and sensitive safety features are separate choices—not one blanket consent.
